The smartdept.inc. is in search of an Account Executive with a strong emphasis in business development for our client located in Bellevue, WA. This is a Direct Placement opportunity working with a Promotional Marketing Service.
The ideal candidate is outgoing and personable, and loves to meet new people. A highly motivated individual who works best in a high-energy work environment. They are creative individual who takes a solutions-oriented approach while working with clients. Ideally you have sales experience within the promotional merchandise industry and are looking for a company that can support your goals and growth.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with internal Marketing team and current clients with the intent of driving business through promotional items
- Work to understand clients’ desired results from their promotional products by asking questions and diving deep
- Grow current book of business through cold sales and lead generation
- Assist clients with the selection and procurement of promotional merchandise/products
- Work in a hybrid in role of sales, account management and project management
What You Need:
- At least 1year experience in a B2B sales/account executive position required, ideally in the promotional merchandise industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to learn industry specific software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi task in fast paced work environment
- Business Development skills – ability to research and identify opportunities within existing accounts and to find new account opportunities
- Strategic Selling skills – asking questions, problem solving, strategic thinking, providing solutions
- Presentation and Communication – confidently and clearly communicate
- Highly creative and service oriented mindset
- Positive attitude and strong desire to succeed/excel
