The smartdept.inc. is in search of an Associate eCommerce Merchandising Specialist with a strong emphasis in coordinating, creating, executing and ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of on domain co-op merchandising. This is a contract opportunity working with a leading multi-brand technology solutions provider in Lincolnshire. The ideal candidate will come with at least 1 year of digital marketing experience assisting in Paid Search.
what you'll do: 
  • Ensures presentation of online ads to final users is complete, accurate, compelling, and delivered per the project timeline
  • Leverages .NET, CMS and third-party automation platforms to execute ad unit and webpage refreshes on time and without errors
  • Conducts regular QA of projects via multiple desktop browsers and mobile device types to ensure that ads display and function as expected
  • Assists with basic paid search campaign execution where needed
  • Articulates key features and benefits of the product, service and/or technology solutions being promoted on domain
  • Creates content that aligns both the brand voice and that of our vendor partners
  • Effectively communicates creative needs to internal and external design resources to inspire the development of dynamic content and creative deliverables
  • Provides timelines and updates to stakeholders and external partners to manage delivery expectations
  • Analyzes, discover and capitalize on SEM opportunities to increase productive paid search and shopping engine traffic to sites
  • Conducts keyword research and budget scoping for new campaigns
  • Audits and maintains campaign settings and best practice

what you'll need: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year working in a content management system (CMS)
  • 1 year digital production experience including writing and editing content for online audiences
  • 1 year digital marketing experience in managing marketing campaigns in Paid Search.
  • Must have experience with Google AdWords or Bing Ads
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google docs
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Strong technical ability to quality learn and apply new applications
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research
  • Marketing or Merchandising background
  • Prior experience in B2B or B2C eCommerce teams
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with Adobe Create Suite including Dreamweaver, Acrobat, and Photoshop
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Excel (e.g. vLookup, pivot tables)
  • Google Adwords or Bing Ads certified
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics)
  • Project management experience in a deadline-driven environment; strong attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
