smartdept.inc is hiring an Associate Partner Planning Analyst for a multi-brand technology solutions provider located in Lincolnshire, IL. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.
The Associate Partner Planning Analyst is responsible for helping support data analysis and insights-based reporting to optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve our client's and Partner’s objectives. The analyst will assist with Partner Planning stakeholders, Partner Development stakeholders, and the broader Partner Management department to identify data-driven insights and find areas of opportunity for this client and their Partners.

What you'll do: 

• Utilizes database querying, data manipulation and statistical analysis to provide business support to marketing.
• Support the leveraging of marketing channel and advanced customer analytics to assess and make strategic recommendations to improve company performance.
• Accurately differentiate the contributing marketing signals from the noise in evaluation of multi-channel campaign analytics.
• Identify trends around Marketing Channels and impact to Partner plans utilizing data analytics methodologies
Partner Planning
• Understand the relationship between the integrated Marketing Channels the client utilizes in go-to-market strategy
• Articulate objectives, communicate the value, and correlate relationship of the client's Marketing Plan and partner objectives to internal/external stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations around ongoing Partner plan optimization based on data analysis• Work with Partner Planning to implement a data-driven culture focused on partner objectives and customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal marketing and partner management stakeholders to find opportunities to increase the efficiency of marketing activities.
• Assist in finding insights and create recommendations via written and verbal communications that can be understood by a broad audience.
• Build quarterly Marketing readouts, by Partner, analyzing success of driving Partner objectives
• Establish & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing and Partner Management to drive actionable insights.
• Build quarterly Marketing readouts, by Partner, analyzing success of driving Partner objectives
• Continue to evolve client’s reporting to provide Partners best-in-class return on Marketing investment
• Create and communicate historic data and results to provide baseline/benchmark goals for marketing activities and plan based on objective
• Determine what integrated marketing mix is best recommended for partner objective

What you'll need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, marketing, information systems, statistics,
mathematics, economics, computer science, or engineering
Other Required Qualifications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills. Ability to problem solve independently. Able to analyze large
volumes of raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Highly detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact
with and present to all stakeholders.
• Proven ability to identify areas of opportunity for existing practices/processes and execute
appropriate improvements.
• History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the
changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
• 1 years analytics experience, including but not limited to: marketing analysis, database
marketing, marketing automation, market research, sales analysis, financial analysis,
econometrics, or statistics.
• Tableau experience a strong plus.
