2-3 month contract with a well-known financial client located in the North burbs. Role will be working onsite in Riverwoods, which is public trans accessible from the city. Potential to extend up to 10 months.

Description

Our award-winning internal advertising agency seeks a Copywriter to join the in-house team responsible for current customer communications. The team produces digital and print communications designed to drive engagement, product awareness and sales growth within the current customer portfolio. As part of a highly collaborative team, this person will work closely with the team’s designers and account managers, and reports to the Senior Copywriter/Creative Manager. Will be knowledgeable in assigned business lines and deliver effective messaging in the right tone and style to fit the audience, information and offer. This person will balance client requests, regulatory guidelines, brand consideration and consumer needs to achieve high quality, strategically sound communications. The successful candidate tailors messaging for maximum impact in placements as diverse as website takeovers, email campaigns, strategic claims and more.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of client-side copywriting experience, or equivalent background in financial services in an agency environment. Must have a portfolio of work that demonstrates creative problem solving with consistent lifts in response. The ideal candidate will learn the brand, business lines and products quickly, and is flexible enough to maintain creativity in a regulated industry. The ideal candidate is collaborative and thrives in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Please submit resumes and a portfolio of work samples for consideration.

Will be working on a healthy mix of both print and digital projects so must be able to build out well-rounded digital campaigns as well as strong print campaigns. Will be working on multi touch campaigns, responsible for light concepting and strategy, as well as hands-on writing execution. Must be able to optimize digital communications, work with cross-functional teams, and be comfortable working with regulatory or legal.

Skill/Experience/Education
