smartdept. inc. is searching for a Sr. Account Manager for a client of ours that specializes in Logistics and supply chain fulfillment solutions. This position is responsible for working with multiple e-commerce clients to coordinate and direct projects with internal/external departments in relation to the business's operational side.

What You’ll Do:

Responsible for the project’s execution from initial job meeting to the completion of the project to achieve mutually agreed-upon expectations. Expeditiously responds to client service issues, determines the source, effectively resolves the issue by investigating all possible processes to achieve client satisfaction. Develops job procedures to standardize project operations and implement timelines to eliminate work overloadBuilds strong relationships internally and externally to guarantee the clients’ success. Perform general project administration, i.e., report generation, order processing, daily KPIs, and end-of-month billing with reports. Ability to recognize opportunities to provide additional value to the client.

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous college or business school degree and/or account management with logistics experience required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint are required.
  • Previous experience working in an AS400 environment is preferred.
  • Experience in an e-commerce/fulfillment account management position is strongly preferred.
