Media Payable Supervisor

smartdept. inc. is searching for a Media Payable Supervisor for a marketing agency in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of media payables experience. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise day-to-day duties of 1 -2 media payables analysts.
• Receive/review all media payables correspondence
• Returns invoices to vendors that do not meet compliance criteria.
• Enters all media payables and runs system-generated affidavit reports for matching.
• Works with Media to resolve older, open media payables.
• Follows up with Media on unresolved, discrepant invoices.
• Contact stations/publications for missing/lost older invoices.
• Researches and provides follow-up to vendors regarding inquiries on past due invoices.
• Generates monthly media billing for all assigned clients.
• Keeps managers apprised of all problems/concerns impacting media payables responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• A minimum of five years of media payables experience at an agency or media buying service
• Experience in Mediaocean (MBOX) and Prisma
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional ability to multitask
