smartdept. is searching for a Graphic Designer for a travel, tourism, and hospitality client. The ideal candidate will come with 3-5 years of experience. This is a fully remote freelance contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. Compensation for this position is expected to be $22-24/hour, depending on experience level and fit. 

You’ll play a key role in developing engaging visual assets for a variety of digital and print projects, supporting clients in the travel and tourism industry. This is a contract role with an immediate start, lasting through October, with possible extension based on performance and project needs.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Design and produce high-quality digital ads (static and rich media), print collateral, presentations, and mock-ups
  • Prepare files for print production and digital deployment
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to deliver consistent, on-brand visuals
  • Work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables clearly with team members and stakeholders

 

What You’ll Need: 

  • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience (agency or in-house preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.)
  • Experience with print production, digital ad creation (including HTML5), and presentation design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and print work
  • Self-starter with a track record of delivering consistent, high-quality results
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with WRIKE project management software and Slack is a plus
  • Ability to commit to 35–40 hours per week, with flexibility for potential extension
