smartdept. inc. is hiring a Senior Account Executive for a Chicago marketing agency. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience. This role will be on-site and has potential to turn into a permanent opportunity with the company.
what you'll do:
- help to manage existing and new clients
- drive high quality results for all clients
- help with client questions regarding planning, timing, media targets, agency services and capabilities.
- develop effective sales proposals, and solicit customer feedback
- act as the liaison between clients and account executives
- negotiate contracts and close agreements
what you'll need:
- the ability to multi-task
- feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- at least 5 years of solid agency experience (consumer goods is a plus!)
- not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump right in!
- have a background in PR, agency, or integrative marketing
