Video Content Producer

smartdept. inc. is looking for a Video Content Producer for a major media company. This position will be a three-month contract, working partially remote and partially on-site in New York City.

what you’ll do:

• Work with senior marketing staff to establish video strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing and sales goals
• Manage the full video discipline, including direction, production, and timing of a variety of different video types
• Work closely with marketing, social media, and creative teams on amplifying and promoting videos

what you’ll need:

• Strong motion design capabilities ranging from user interfaces to visual identities and interactive media.
• Strong desire to own the video process from end-to-end.
• Ability to shoot campaign video.
• Interested in and/or familiar with experience reality and emerging technology mediums, such as AR and VR.
• Experience managing and mentoring design talent.
• Ability to respond to and integrate constructive feedback.
• Ability to solve complex communication challenges with creativity and efficiency.
• Advanced understanding of and/or proficient in: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and a diverse range of motion design software, plug-ins, techniques and approaches. Clear and concise communicator displaying strong organization and collaboration skills.
