Marcom Manager - Digital Media
smartdept.inc. is searching for a Marcom Manager - Digital Media for a medical instruments company located in Vernon Hills, IL. The ideal candidate will come with at least 10 years of experience. This is a direct-hire opportunity that will be remote with the occasional need to attend meetings on-site. Candidates must be local to the North Suburbs of Chicago.
What You’ll Do:
The marketing communications manager will focus on the company's digital presence including websites, social media portals, and consumer-focused microsites. They will work with Marketing Managers to develop social media strategies and mid-term Marketing Plans for each discipline. They will conceptualize and create various digital marketing assets. They will also be in charge of managing content updates and maintain SEO on editorial and event websites. They will collaborate and coordinate with various agencies and business partners to deliver effective marketing materials and improve brand consistency. The marketing manager will acquire insight in online marketing trends, user behavior, or customer journeys, and keep strategies up-to-date. They will assist and support marketing and digital campaigns and events to increase brand and product awareness. And work with Marketing Team members on the creation of films, animations, and other video productions including story boarding and editing.
What You’ll Need:
- 6+ years of experience in graphic design marketing communications
- 6+ years of experience in the medical device industry
- Expertise with the Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with tradeshows
- Experience with marketing products (not services)
- Experience with product labeling
- Video and Motion design experience is a plus
