Paid Media Analyst

smartdept. inc. is searching for a Paid Media Analyst for a media agency in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will come with one year of paid search experience, which may include internships. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct SEM/Paid Search management and execution in Google Ads.
- Develop and recommend budget levels based on client goals and objectives.
- Create, categorize and refine keyword lists to create a comprehensive campaign that drives
qualified visitors to client sites. - Implement successful bidding strategies and effective keyword management using third party
software and metrics data. - Monitor audiences, device and location targeting efforts on a regular basis to maximize
campaign efficiency and performance. - Communicate regularly on status, timeline, budget, deliverables, performance reporting, and
competitive intelligence analysis. - Format and prepare regularly scheduled search reports for clients. Reports would be in the form
of data visualization platforms or excel tables, graphs, summaries, and slides
What You’ll Need:
- BA in marketing, advertising, communications or equivalent
- Google Ads Search Certification preferred
- 1 year SEM account management or comparable digital experience and strategic thinking
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate tasks and client needs
- Able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple campaigns in a deadline-driven atmosphere
- Strong analytical skills: ability to gather, analyze, summarize, and present data
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in Google Ads, GDN, Microsoft Ads, YouTube, FB/IG, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Data
