Automation Developer

smartdept. inc. is searching for an Automation Developer for a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in building Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. The is a fully remote, contract opportunity expected to last 3 months.  

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain scalable, resilient, secure, and efficient Automation Anywhere solutions to meet established SLAs and desired business outcomes. This utilizes all aspects of features in the solution including Metabots, DLLs, SQL, XML, etc.
• Own the collective responsibility of developing, testing and releasing the product.
• Automate web interfaces, desktop application interfaces, PDF, database, excel and web services.
• Provide application support for maximum quality and productivity levels of the product.
• Supports control room set-up and ongoing maintenance activities.

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum overall 6 years of experience in IT
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in RPA
• 3-5 years of experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS vendor or other cloud service provider
• Hands-on experience in the latest version (A2019) of Automation Anywhere. Automation Anywhere Certified RPA Professional is preferred.
• Prior deployment experience in human resources, finance or health care domains is preferred.
• Good experience in databases (Creation of stored procedure, joins, DDL and DML operations)
• Knowledge on RPA BOT deployment cycle and Agile development methodologies
