Marketing Assistant

smartdept. inc. is searching for a Marketing Assistant for a food service client in Tukwila, WA. The ideal candidate will come with 1-2 years of marketing experience. This is a direct-hire role that will be partially on-site in Tukwila, WA.

What You’ll Do:

• Aid in the development of marketing and sales support collateral for product launches; sales flyers, point-of-
  sale material, labels, signage, etc.
• Image and video content management; packaging images, social media images, agency developed
  content, product packaging images for 3 rd party services, e-com image support, etc.
• Support our Marketing and Consumer relations team to ensure consumer satisfaction,
  coupon development, consumer sentiment monitoring, tracking, etc.
• Create marketing and sales support materials
• Audit and edit a variety of marketing and sales support tools; specification sheets, photos, web
  images, brand/product copy, etc.
• Provide social media management support and consumer communications support.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• 2 or more years of experience in a role supporting marketing or sales.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop most importantly)
•  Must be able to collaborate cross-functionally and be a strong team player.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Must have ownership and drive, be a self-starter.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Functions effectively with ambiguity.
• Be intellectually curious.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
