Account Manager, Cloud Technologies
smartdept.inc. is searching for an Account Manager, Cloud Technologies for large communications agency located in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate will come with at least 4 – 5 years of experience. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. This position is remote.
What You’ll Do:
The Account Manager, Cloud Technologies will manage and grow senior-level client relationships to assuring alignment and expectations are met. You will identify and drive digital/social media strategies, develop, and execute integrated communication plans and provide strategic counsel to key clients while serving as a trusted advisor on clients and competitors. You will build awareness and showcase capabilities, talent, and results while informing, educating, and influencing existing and potential future clients. You will serve as a project manager in the preparation and delivery of organic growth or new business proposal content and in- person pitch meetings. You are the primary day-to-day contact with clients, proactively engaging on issues. You will also participate in budget and resource management, managing career development, and performance of direct reports.
What You’ll Need:
- 4-5 years experience in integrated communications or PR, preferable in an agency setting and/or applicable industry. 3+ years of management experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with corporate image, issues/crisis management and strategic communications across multiple audience segments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field preferred. Or the equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
- Expert with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Exceptional media relations background with a demonstrated capability of working with global business and policy press to manage story development.
- High level of analysis and strategic recommendations based on industry knowledge
- Experience with a client and business environment and being customer service orientated is a must.
- High level of initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with frequent tight deadlines and ability to multitask.
- Experience making presentations to groups of all sizes, including pitching new business.
