Creative Project Manager

smartdept.inc. is searching for a Creative Project Manager for the corporate division of a car wash franchise located in Holland, MI. The ideal candidate will come with at least 5+ years of experience managing projects across all areas of creative marketing and advertising, print and digital. This is a hybrid on-site and remote, full-time position. Candidates must be local to Holland, MI. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Manage project schedules and timelines, utilize project management tools and software, and vendor relationships. 
• Communicate and gather the creative teams and keep everyone on track, all while understanding priorities and taking the lead from the creative director and other marketing leadership. Will report to and work closely with the creative director. 
• Act as the liaison between marketing and the creative/digital teams to assist with project schedules and communications as needed.
• Work with the creative director to assign creative team staff to projects based on talent and capacity… and help manage workloads.

What You’ll Need: 

• 3-5+ years of project management experience in creative or other marketing settings
• A skilled understanding of the types of assets created for print and digital advertising and marketing
• Energy and passion for keeping multiple projects organized at once
• A go-getter attitude in working with and managing vendor relationships for printing, signage, merchandise and more (obtaining quotes, proofs, samples, etc.)
• The ability to set up and help run project meetings
• Must be comfortable in training staff on process and file structure
• Skilled experience in project management software tools, Jira preferred 
• Working knowledge of Office 365 and other web-based storage tools
