Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist

smartdept.inc. is searching for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist for a global food production company located in Aurora, IL. The ideal candidate will come with at least 5 years of experience. This is a remote project by project opportunity. Must be available for virtual/phone meetings during regular working hours. 

What You’ll Do: 

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist will work on a contract basis to create and/or review content that meets or exceeds our clients’ DEI requirements. This role delivers high-quality service on all projects that are on time and on budget. The DEI specialist will report to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition and Diversity & Inclusion

 What You’ll Need: 

• Must have extensive experience developing and/or reviewing materials with current DEI considerations in mind.
• Current on trends, expectations, and standards related to DEI and can apply that knowledge to content development.
• Is able to follow changing guidelines and feedback throughout a project. 
• Great communication skills, well-organized and adept to work independently while staying on track to meet deadlines.
