smartdept.inc. is searching for a Web Developer for a marketing agency located in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will come with at least 2-5 years of experience. This is a 100% remote, project-by-project opportunity.

What You'll Do: 

  • Develop and maintain websites using HTML and WordPress
  • Collaborate with team members and key stakeholders to deliver a technical solution that meets the unique needs of business development
  • Create quality deliverables to communicate technical solutions to appropriate audiences
  • Communicate effectively to team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge
  • Provide technical mentoring and leadership, including gathering requirements to determine what technologies should be used for each digital project
  • Develop the design, build, and ongoing maintenance of content pages
  • Testing, proofing, auditing of the site and digital content

What You'll Need: 

  • 2-5+ years of experience in web development
  • Demonstrated experience developing templates from scratch in HTML and WordPress
