smartdept. inc. is searching for a Marketing Specialist for a medical association client in Rosemont, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience in developing marketing plans for organization recruitment and membership. This is a fully remote, contract opportunity that may be converted to full-time.
What You’ll Do:
Develop integrated marketing communications strategies and tactics for membership recruitment and retention and other assigned programs highly valued by our members that deliver and maintain the brand promise to targeted customer segments, align with strategic initiatives for growth, and achieve membership, marketing, and financial objectives. Marketing communications plans and tactics should show value, attract new members, help retain current members, promotes the value of membership through the use of member benefits, and fosters member engagement. Copywriting and coordination/project management of marketing pieces.What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of experience in developing marketing plans for organization recruitment and membership
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create a variety of tactics including email, direct mail, digital and print ads, and video; ability to work with the design team.
- Effective verbal and written interpersonal communication and project management skills are necessary, as well as experience collaborating with a wide range of internal audiences.
- Be solution-oriented, flexible, and focused on executing plans that successfully meet objectives
- Ability to analyze marketing campaigns for effectiveness
