The smartdept is on the hunt for a talented and experienced analyst for a globally-recognized corporate client based in Lincolnshire, IL. This will be a 3-month contract opportunity starting in August and will be completely remote! 

 

As part of the Digital Personalization Creative/UX team, you will play a key role in helping to envision, deliver and continuously improve our user (employee) journeys and the great creative that brings them to life. Your focus will be two-fold: 1) partnering with the Content team to build and translate to engineering the data-driven requirements for our campaigns and journeys, and 2) partnering with the Creative Delivery leader to keep all creative projects and resources well organized and masterfully coordinated.

The ideal candidate is a marketing savvy analyst-type who loves data, documentation, Excel, and all the uber-detail-oriented activities and artifacts that keep a large cross-functional team and product running as smoothly as possible. Demonstrating an aptitude for data-driven requirements and a facility for working with the company's complex data assets and personalization triggers/logic is the icing on this exciting opportunity.

What you’ll do: 

  • Create project plans and track status of creative team projects and campaign/journey offers
  • Create and track Jira tickets for each creative team project (visibility to broader Product team)
  • Organize and maintain campaign assets on the business-facing Resources Hub
  • Work with Creative and Product team members as needed to keep projects moving/meet deadlines
  • Maintain/organize working files and materials on our team SharePoint site
  • Understand the inner workings of the company's personalized campaigns and journeys, available data assets, and marketing automation platform capabilities
  • Actively participate in campaign or journey design sprints, sharing and capturing potential data triggers
  • Facilitate requirements sessions with our creative, domain, data science, and engineering team members; capture data-driven eligibility (triggers) and arbitration rules for campaigns and journeys
  • Lead requirements handoff meetings; prepare and post final documentation
  • Keep requirements updated as we conduct campaign continuous improvement activities

  • Experience in data-driven logic/ requirements development and project coordination

  • Complete tasks and maintain composure under tight deadlines

  • Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new things
  • Resourcefulness and ability to adapt to changing priorities and scope; comfortable working amidst ambiguity
  • Strong PC skills, aptitude with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) – Very strong Excel skills are a must
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally
