Paid Search Specialist

smartdept. inc. is looking for a smart, energetic, and curious Paid Search Specialist for a retirement services company in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of paid search experience and a Google Ads Certification. This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity. The expected hourly compensation for this role is $25-35/hour.

what you’ll do:

• Design, manage and implement paid search campaigns and strategies for the client in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  
• Be a superuser in all elements of paid search campaign management and maintain an understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  
• Execute day-to-day optimization and management of paid search campaigns, including delivery of relevant metrics to various team members and stakeholders.
  
• Consult with the Regional Directors of Marketing (RDMs) and other team members as needed for revisions and improvements to paid search campaigns.

what you’ll need:

• Google Ads Search Certification, which demonstrates mastery of Google Ads Search campaigns. 
• Microsoft Ads Search Advertising Learning Path certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• A proven track record of meeting paid search goals. 
• Ability to work on multiple communities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets and using basic functions for budgeting and analysis purposes.
• Experience using analytics and/or reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
• Exercises critical thinking and an inquisitive mindset to conduct a thorough analysis that results in actionable insights.
• Ability to analyze traffic from paid search campaigns to gauge success and determine optimization strategies.
• Experience in other forms of digital marketing is a plus.
• Maintains high standards and provides work that is professionally composed.
