smartdept.inc. is searching for a Marketing Analytics Campaign Manager for a credit card and banking institution client of ours located in Riverwoods, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, credit risk, fraud risk, or related field. This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity in Riverwoods, IL with a duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to an FTE. Pay for this position is expected to be $46-$53/hr depending on experience

 

What You'll Do:

The function of this role is to manage campaign processing for acquisition campaigns using campaign management tools and Acxiom's Prospect Database while providing analytics leadership for Direct Marketing channels. This manager role requires a strong working knowledge of campaign management processing, managing multiple functions simultaneously, and supporting new acquisition marketing business initiatives, within the client's Home Loan department. The manager will also be responsible for delivering timely campaigns as well as developing and tracking process improvements and efficiencies to the campaign production schedules. This position will closely monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met for specific marketing channels and course correct as necessary. 

  • Responsible for the overall management, process strategy, and execution of daily, weekly, and monthly Acquisition Marketing campaigns generated using Campaign Management software and Acxiom’s Prospect Database.
    • Will generally manage 12 unique campaigns per month.
    • Will also be responsible for launching new businesses onto the Prospect database platform including project proposals, requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and implementation.
  • Develop and establish Acquisition campaign management metrics including the development of best practices. Identify and establish all campaign documentation standards and unit procedures and ensure it is kept up to date including milestones, workflow, campaign procedures, change management, and campaign process reporting.
  • Develop process improvements for campaigns and track/measure success factors.
  • Drives the planning for direct marketing campaigns from an analytics perspective. Debriefs the team regularly on campaign performance, maintains and enhances reporting dashboards, and proposes new audience-related strategies and tactics to test in the market for Direct Mail, Email, and Site Marketing channels.  
  • Collaborates with business partners (Legal, Risk, Data Modeling, Campaigns) to manage the timely release of campaign files to print and email vendors. Performs quality checks at different milestones to ensure defect-free processing of data files.

  • Provides robust test designs with an aim to get high confidence reading on test results. Assists campaign team with evaluation of different creative tests and provides meaningful feedback to optimize messaging for product.
  • Excels in the creation and management of visual dashboards in Tableau which help in bringing data insights to the team.
  • Leads the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics, and machine learning algorithm & recommendation to solve business problems. Lead the development of Analytical capabilities with the aim of creating long-term strategic data/analytics assets for the company.
  • Provides thought leadership & strategic thinking to translate a business problem into an analytical framework(s), and independently recommends actions and provides business insights. Operates as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiments, analysis methodology, modeling & application, and financial impact analysis.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, and formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations. Facilitate implementation of work product and ensure accuracy. Establishes and maintains effective performance tracking; identifies improvement opportunity, form hypothesis, propose, design, and implement tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization.
  • Delivers effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
  • Consistently follows standard work processes and documentation requirements. Recommends improvement to work processes to increase efficiency while maintaining the quality of work.
 
What You'll Need:
  • BA in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or another related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, Marketing Analytics, Optimization, Operations Analytics, Modeling/Data Science, or another related field
  • Experience working in the financial services/banking industry
  • 5-6 years of experience managing direct marketing campaigns (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics; preferably in marketing 
  • Project management skills
  • Tableau and/or PowerBI dashboarding skills 
  • Ability to write code in SaaS if needed
  • Has the ability to write complex queries in Snowflake to perform data investigation and enable team with file creation logic.
  • Basic understanding of Python scripting
