Copywriter

smartdept.inc. is searching for a Copywriter for the corporate division of a car wash franchise located in Holland, MI. The ideal candidate will come with at least 5 years of experience writing content for all areas of marketing and advertising, print and digital. This is a hybrid on-site and remote, full-time position. Candidates must be local to Holland, MI. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Concept, craft and produce marketing and advertising communications that motivate, inspire, and create action for both B2B and B2C audiences.
• Translate strategies and data into engaging, creative copy.
• Assess, create and adhere to copy guidelines and standards that align with brand personality, goals and objectives of the brand.
• Work closely with creative team members and others to develop creative ideas and messaging
  that delivers on project goals and objectives as outlined in creative briefs.
• Be flexible in multiple writing styles that include franchise partner communications, events,
  brand-level promotional campaigns, organic content, web content, video production and more.
• Turn complex problems into simple, digestible and engaging copy for B2B and B2C.

What You’ll Need: 

• 5+ years of professional writing experience in either a corporate or creative agency setting. 
• Familiarity with writing for a variety of audiences and environments, for print and digital formats,
  B2B and B2B audiences, and for both acquisition and retention.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in marketing, advertising, English or communications
• Must provide a portfolio to be considered
