Account Executive

smartdept. inc. is searching for a Public Relations Account Executive for a Chicago-based marketing agency client of ours that focuses in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Public Relations experience creating and working on social media influencer programs. This is an onsite, full-time, direct-hire opportunity. 

What You'll Do: 

• Help to manage existing and new clients
• Develop and execute social media influencer campaign programs for CPG brands/clients
• Help with client questions regarding planning, timing, media targets, agency services, and capabilities
• Work with influencers to create content and promote products
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements
• Track results and measure ROI

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years of relevant experience working with affiliate/influencer marketing programs
• Have a background in PR or integrative marketing (previous agency experience required)
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns
• Experience/comfortability working with clients directly to understand their business needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Local to Chicago (on-site presence required)
