Digital Content Manager

smartdept. inc. is searching for an entry-level Digital Content Specialist for a global multi-level marketing company client of ours, in Ada, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time, remote or hybrid, 12-month contract opportunity. The pay for this position is expected to be $28-$32/hr depending on experience level and fit. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Converting final web copy to HTML and loading into Hybris backend system for US/CA/DO; sending all copy to translation for SP and FR content via Worldserver, and loading returned HTML content in Hybris
  • Managing product content (SKUs) for Marketing Portfolios in Product Cockpit and SmartEdit
  • Building content pages/HTML into the Hybris SmartEdit platform from agency-supplied content and designs
  • Loading supplied videos and metadata to Brightcove; Compressing video content and prepping for content management in Canto Resource Center platform
  • Altering supplied images in Photoshop and converting/naming all images to conform to Hybris standards
  • Loading HTML for monthly/annual digital publications into Amazon S3 storage and configuring for SmartEdit presentation on the web
  • Many of these same tasks will migrate to Angular backend and ContentStack CMS in the near future as platform development occurs
What You’ll Need:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in coding and maintaining HTML web copy
  • Strong technical aptitude with a working knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design are required
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation
