Contract - Hybrid / Full time

smartdept. is searching for a Creative Producer for a med-tech client located in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will come with 7+ years of experience. This is a full-time, hybrid (2 days/week), 8-month contract opportunity that has the possibility of extension or conversion. Compensation for this position is expected to be $48/hr - $68/hr depending on experience level and fit. 

 

We are seeking an experienced Creative Producer to lead planning and delivery of cross-functional projects across various types of marketing deliverables. The Creative Producer will develop cross-functional visibility at a portfolio level. The Creative Producer will play a proactive role throughout the organization, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and strategize programs as they transition from annual strategic opportunities to concrete projects for creative development. They will partner with project managers to shoulder the responsibility for project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing portfolio-level visibility across functional deliverables and requests
  • Participate in quarterly prioritization and capacity planning in partnership with Program leads and stakeholders
  • Prepare projects for kick-off by scoping work, guiding the creation of a brief, and ensuring requests are clear and complete
  • Partner with PM and people leaders in determining and assigning the best resources for the work
  • Pull together cross-functional working teams as needed to create visibility across requests and find opportunities to up-level requests
  • Provide regular status updates and recaps to stakeholders, working teams, and leadership, and surface insights to guide future briefs
  • In partnership with the stakeholder, execute regulatory and legal reviews of the work within a technical tool
  • As applicable, participate in Operations process design and rollout

 

What You’ll Need: 

  • Experience managing creative workflow for integrated programs that cross print, video, and digital tactics.
  • Highly proficient in project management systems (Workfront and Jira are nice to-haves)
  • Ability to lead and thrive in dynamic environments, passionate about driving success through positive relationships and operational excellence
  • Excellent scope/budget stewardship, time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proven ability to work in a robust and agile environment, while consistently paying attention to accuracy and quality of work
  • Comfortable and effective in communicating high-level concepts and overall business direction in one-on-one settings in addition to large groups.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, identify and resolve problems, and leverage leadership support as needed
  • Critical thinker, able to articulate key program and team updates and concerns to stakeholders and leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of progressive project/program management experience in an in-house creative group, creative agency, or similar environment
