Content Creator
smartdept. is searching for a Freelance Content Creator for a B2B-focused client. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of B2B content marketing experience. This is a part-time, fully remote, ongoing contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension.
This role will support ongoing B2B marketing initiatives through written, visual, and light video content that drives lead generation, brand awareness, and consistent customer communication.
What You’ll Do:

Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including eBlasts and newsletters

Develop, maintain, and execute a social media content calendar

Write B2B-focused marketing content aligned with business goals

Create light video content and handle basic editing (no heavy production required)

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging is on-brand and timely
What You’ll Need:
Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred

3+ years of experience creating B2B marketing content

Proven experience supporting lead generation and brand awareness initiatives
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or beauty-related industries

Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact or similar)
