smartdept. is searching for a Web Designer (Figma) for a travel and tourism marketing client located in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience. This is a project-based, fully remote contract.

This role will support the development team by designing and building out web pages in Figma for implementation. The ideal candidate has strong UI/UX fundamentals and experience creating clean, developer-ready files.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and build web page layouts in Figma aligned with brand standards

  • Translate creative direction into polished, user-friendly web designs

  • Create responsive layouts and components for desktop and mobile

  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless handoff

  • Maintain design systems and ensure consistency across pages

  • Prepare organized, developer-ready Figma files

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of professional web design experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma (must-have)

  • Strong understanding of responsive design and UX best practices

  • Experience designing pages for CMS-driven websites

  • Ability to collaborate with developers and provide clean design specs

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
