smartdept. inc. is searching for a Junior Graphic Designer for a marketing firm in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 1-2 years of experience in graphic design. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
- Design both print and digital collateral and perform production workflow and manually correct digital files and ensure quality control of print and web materials created
- Establish and maintain quality, productive relationships with clients and staff
- Create content for social media, web and print platforms
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and maintain excellent attention to detail while collaborating with other designers
What you'll need:
- 1-2 years of experience in graphic design
- A degree or certification in graphic design
- High level of organizational skills and the ability to create excellent work within deadlines
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Up to date design and art skills through self-education of industry trends and software skills
- Must have a portfolio
- Sharp, go-getter attitude
