Marketing Technology Jr Consultant
smartdept. inc. is searching for a Jr Marketing Technology Consultant for a technology company in Lincolnshire, IL. This is a full-time, contract opportunity currently expected to last one month. The pay for this position is expected to be $25-$30/hour.
The Marketing Technology Jr Consultant is responsible for supporting a range of overall Marketing projects with a focus on Marketing Technology initiatives. This position works collaboratively with other Marketing and Technology Department colleagues to provide cohesive support on initiatives to ensure coordination, effective engagement with firm resources and high-quality execution of strategic projects and initiatives across the department and the firm.
The position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, the ability to keep abreast of a heavy schedule, and to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage in production issues resolution through researching, identifying fixes, supporting technical experts and deployment, and providing and updating documentation
- Support the implementation of technology enhancements, including project management, requirements gathering, desk-side coaching, knowledge transfer (informal training) and documentation
- Coordinate bug fixes and the enhancement deployment process between business users, IT teams and technology partners.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to validate existing taxonomy, metadata and security requirements for new digital assets and user roles and ensures users are following established taxonomy and metadata standards
- Ensures technology licenses and user permissions are within budget and follow guidelines
- A 4-year College Degree is required. Marketing, Business, or Computer Science is a plus
- Prior experience in a professional environment required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
