Point-of-Purchase Designer

smartdept. inc is searching for a Point-of-Purchase Designer for a visual merchandising client in the Seattle, WA area. This is a hybrid, ongoing contract opportunity. The pay for this position is expected to be $60-65/hr. 

The Point-of-Purchase Designer will be responsible for creating, designing, and producing display materials for our retail stores.

What You'll Do: 

• Collaborate with other departments to identify and develop creative solutions for Point-of-Purchase displays.
• Design, develop and produce Point-of-Purchase materials, including print, digital, and three-dimensional displays.
• Create artwork that is visually appealing and prints clearly.
• Ensure all artwork is up to the company’s quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Ensure that all artwork is completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, suppliers and other departments.
• Maintain digital files of all artwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Knowledge of three-dimensional design and production.
• Strong portfolio of Point-of-Purchase designs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
