Marketing Communications Specialist

smartdept.inc. is searching for a Marketing Communications Specialist for a credit card and banking institution client located in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 2+ years of experience. This is a full-time, fully remote, 9-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to FTE. The pay for this position is expected to be $45-$56/hour depending on experience level.

What You’ll Do: 

• Build new communications to support the centralization of customer profiles, permissions, and preferences information
• Monitors campaign performance, consults agency partners and discusses with channel experts to maximize acquisition investment efficiency
• Manages the process for routing changes and approvals for campaigns through Legal and Compliance
• Collaborates with agency partners and current managers to manage and optimize existing campaigns
• Prepares analytics and reporting to continue to optimize campaigns

What You’ll Need: 

• 2+ years of experience in marketing strategy or communication planning
• BA in Communications, Marketing, PR or another relevant area
• Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Excellent project management skills 
• Ability to work on multiple projects and business partners at once
• Experience understanding how to partner with agencies and create communications strategies
