Marketing Campaign Manager (Direct Mail)

smartdept. inc. is searching for a Marketing Campaign Manager for a financial services client in Riverwoods, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 4-6 years of experience in marketing & advertising, advertising technology, and platforms, project management, product management, and/or analytics. This is a full-time, hybrid, 6-month contract opportunity that has the possibility of extension. This position is set at an hourly rate of $53-$63/hr depending on experience.
 
This position manages the direct-to-consumer campaign delivery process for Direct Mail. 
What You’ll Do:
  • Execute campaigns, including audience definitions, creative developments, test and control designs, budgeting, analyses, reporting, compliance, optimizations, and insights
  • Partner with creative teams and market research and outside agencies to implement new messaging and creative types
  • Develop campaigns that are consistent with the strategy and objectives of the business
  • Monitor controls to ensure campaigns are compliant
  • Ensure campaigns meet goals
  • Manage campaign deliverables, timelines, and resources
  • Partner with legal and compliance to obtain approvals for the routing of creative copy and audience targeting
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing required
  • 4+ years of experience in the creation and management of campaigns (preferably in direct-to-consumer or direct-mail initiatives)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and professional speaking skills
  • Ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
