smartdept. inc. is searching for an Administrative Coordinator for an Advertising Agency client based in the North Chicago, IL area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment in a similar role. This is an onsite (5x per week), full-time, ongoing contract opportunity. The pay for this opportunity is between $20/hr - $30/hr depending on level of experience.
What You'll Do:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Assist with fulfillment needs
- Quality check marketing materials
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare and distribute documents including but not limited to reports and presentations
- Maintaining files and records
- Other administrative duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Theater, or related
- 2-3+ years of experience in an administrative role
- A background in stage management is beneficial for this role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
