Security Analyst Associate

smartdept. inc. is searching for a Security Analyst Associate for a Healthcare client in the greater Detroit, MI area. This is a hybrid, full-time, 12-month contract opportunity. The pay for this position is between $35/hr - $42/hr depending on level of experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Utilize SailPoint, along with other processes and applications, to assist in real-time auditing of systems configurations and both internal and external interfaces, to detect and investigate potential privacy and\or security hazards and threats to system assets.
• Assist in the analysis of information and data flows using SailPoint
• May participate in coaching end-users on preventative processes and policies to ensure asset security.
• Learn to exercise a tactful but positive influence on staff at all levels.
• Maintain a log of activities and provide status reports to leadership.
• Participate with project teams to understand and execute the scope of a project, create and maintain work plans, and provide the appropriate project-related status reports.
• Look for opportunities to learn from more experienced Security Analysts.

What You’ll Need:

• Associate's Degree /Technical school or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (preferred)
• 2+ years of relevant experience in the field
• Background demonstrative of the highest level of personal and professional integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Auditing, Identity, Role Base Access, with the ability to provide identity support
• Scripting experience: PowerShell or Python
• Experience with Sailpoint, Service Now and Active Directory
