Marketing Technology Assistant

smartdept. inc. is searching for a potential future need for a Marketing Technology Assistant with a client based in the greater Chicago area. This would likely be a full-time, fully remote, and around a 3-month contract opportunity with the potential to extend. The pay for this position is expected to be $25/hr - $30/hr. 

What You’ll Do:

• Engage in production issues resolution through researching, identifying fixes, supporting technical experts and deployment, and providing and updating documentation
• Support the implementation of technology enhancements, including project management, requirements gathering, desk-side coaching, knowledge transfer (informal training) and documentation
• Coordinate bug fixes and the enhancement deployment process between business users, IT teams and technology partners.
• Works with internal and external stakeholders to validate existing taxonomy, metadata and security requirements for new digital assets and user roles and ensures users are following established taxonomy and metadata standards
• Ensures technology licenses and user permissions are within budget and follow guidelines

• A 4-year College Degree is required. Marketing, Business, or Computer Science is a plus
• Prior experience in a professional environment required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
