Senior Visual Designer

smartdept. is searching for a Sr. Visual Designer for an eCommerce client. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience. This is a part-time/project-based, fully remote, contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. Compensation for this position is expected to be $47-$57/hour depending on experience level and fit. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Create high-quality visual designs for website, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Experience working with homepage banners and social media content. 
• Develop and execute marketing strategies.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in home decor, e-commerce, and social media.
• Use a variety of software programs to create graphics, motion graphics, images, concepts, etc.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Need: 

• Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in home decor, e-commerce, and social media.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects.
  • Familiarity with Animation or Motion Graphics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience working for Home Decor, Furniture or other eCommerce brands is a plus.
