smartdept. is searching for an Instructional Designer for a financial client located in Riverwoods, IL. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience. This is a full-time, hybrid, 4-month contract opportunity. Compensation for this position is expected to be $55/hr - $63/hr depending on experience level and fit. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Design and develop content and assessments to Enterprise Data Management programs.
  • Work with program subject matter experts to develop content and assessments.
  • Ensure learning objectives are established based on necessary competencies
  • Review existing training materials to identify gaps, recommend improvements and consolidate where appropriate. 

What You’ll Need: 

  • 5+ years of Instructional Design experience
  • Proficient in Articulate 360, Camtasia Studio, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and Blueworks Live
  • Working knowledge of Data Management concepts
