Digital Asset Coordinator

smartdept. is searching for a Digital Asset Coordinator for a luxury travel client located in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will come with 2+ years of experience. This is a fully remote, on-going contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. Compensation for this position is expected to be $22-25/hour depending on experience level and fit. 

The Digital Asset Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's digital assets, including images, videos, and documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital asset management and experience working with a variety of file formats.

What You’ll Do: 

• Organize and maintain the company's digital asset library
• Create and update metadata for digital assets
• Manage and create maintaining workflows for asset requests
• Process Management
• Optimize digital assets for performance and accessibility
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the effective use of digital assets
• Understanding the brand
• Cataloging images, videos, documents, and other media files
• Creating and implementing file naming conventions
• Managing metadata and tags for easy searchability
• Content Management

What You’ll Need: 

• Education/Experience:
  • Associate's degree in design 
  • 2+ years experience in digital asset management 
  • Familiarity using Dropbox
  • Background in luxury/travel is a nice to have
  • Strong understanding of digital asset management principles and best practices
  • Experience working with a variety of file formats
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
