Graphic Designer

smartdept. is searching for a Graphic Designer for a CPG client. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience in brand, digital, and packaging design. This is a project-based, fully remote, 3–6 month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. 

This role will support the visual execution of the brand across digital, social, and packaging touchpoints.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with existing brand assets to create new mockups, packaging materials, ads, and promotional content
• Design new creative assets aligned with established brand guidelines and visual identity
• Support social and marketing teams with design needs for campaigns and content
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies on creative development
• Create assets for paid and organic social campaigns
• Assist with visual consistency across all marketing channels
• Contribute to creative concepts and visual storytelling for the brand

What You’ll Need:

Education/Experience:

• Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within CPG or eCommerce
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital, and/or packaging work

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience designing for social media and paid ads
• Familiarity with packaging design and production
• Basic motion or video editing skills (a plus)
• Experience collaborating with marketing and content teams
