This is a 3 month contract to perm role onsite in the Northern suburbs.

The Digital Content Management Lead will be responsible for the planning and delivery of content management updates for high-impact and high-profile digital experiences across the company’s online platforms, including web, e-mail and mobile. The chosen candidate will also work on ground-breaking initiatives supporting the company’s customers through product launches, content optimization and testing of different creative. In addition, the candidate will partner with Information Technology, internal marketing partners, and external design agencies to define and develop on-going requirements for presentation templates, style-sheets, and content. This role requires consistent collaboration with multiple business partners within the company to foster synergies across departments and extend the content management thought-leadership across the enterprise.

Furthermore, the Digital Content Management Lead will publish, approve, and generate content that produces a best-in-class customer experience. Reducing content delivery cost, increasing speed to market and helping drive revenue will be at the core of the candidate’s goals and responsibilities. The role will require the candidate to stay informed of industry trends surrounding content management and disseminate regular updates to senior leadership.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience working in digital content publishing and front-end web development
  • Advanced experience with an enterprise class web content management system such as: OpenText, TeamSite, Adobe Experience Manager, SiteCore, Stellant, Documentum, SharePoint, Vignette (Interwoven, TeamSite preferred)
  • Advanced experience of HTML, CSS and Cookies; DHTML, HTML5, CSS3 and SASS
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and CSS and jQuery
  • Conceptually understands AJAX, JAVA/JSP, SEO, XML, and basic database design
  • Demonstrates quantitative and analytic skills
  • Strong MS Excel and Tableau skills (i.e. – VLOOKUP, Pivot tables)
  • Efficient time management, excellent typing skills, well organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and execute quickly under time pressure
  • Team player and enjoys engaging in brainstorming sessions
  • Inquisitive, pro-active, and strong ability to diplomatically extract information from consultants, business partners, Information Technology, vendors and other major stake holders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Lean, Six Sigma and/or demonstrated process improvement expertise a plus

Desired Skills:

  • Conceptually understands AJAX, JAVA/JSP, SEO, XML, and basic database design
  • Intermediate understanding of XSLT scripting language
  • Intermediate understanding of RESTful scripting language
  • Design, research and usability training/background a plus
  • Advanced Dreamweaver and Adobe CS6/Photoshop
  • Intermediate LiveSite experience/knowledge
